All automakers, including GM, faced shortages of key vehicles as production was idled in March until May. Pickup trucks were hit the hardest, creating a scarcity of the popular vehicles. GM production resumed on a limited basis in May with new procedures and processes in place designed to keep workers safe and plants operating. ....

This comment always comes up in these debates lol, and it makes me laugh every time. So for maybe the 500th time, let’s slowly work this one out. Right now, there are 3 American corporations that build full-size pickup trucks. They are Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles…we could debate how “American” they really are all day long, but for the sake of time, let’s not). Okay, still with me, Jeremy? Of these, Ford has their F Series line, GM has their SIlverado and Sierra lines, and FCA has their RAM line. Easy enough. ....
