Female artists dominate Brit Awards with historic wins

Little Mix and Taylor Swift made history at the 2021 Brit Awards as the first female artists to win the Best British Band and Global Icon awards respectively.
Female artists were centre stage at this year s Brit Awards, which heralded the return of live music events in the UK.
She used her first speech to call for a pay rise for NHS workers and her second to demand a posthumous bravery award for 20-year-old Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole, who recently died after jumping into the River Thames to save a woman
Little Mix, who have been together for ten years, became the first female band to win the Best British Band award.
To recall, Samsung announced its partnership with BTS in early 2020 as the K-Pop group started promoting the Map of the Soul: 7 album. Reports also stated that the tech giant would release an augmented reality service that could only be downloaded by Galaxy phone users.

KCrush America s Kpop-Music Awards 2020 winners announced on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2020. Millions of K-Pop fans worldwide, including in the United States, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, India, and Russia, have participated in the 23-day voting. La Di Da by Everglow was pronounced as the Song of the Year after getting a 16% of the votes. Any Song by Zico and Dynamite by BTS followed in the second and third spots with 12% and 9% of votes, respectively. Unstable Mindset by Younha was announced as the Album of the Year for garnering 16% of the total number of votes. Dystopia: The Tree of Language by Dreamcatcher and BE by BTS came in second and third ranks with 14% and 8% of votes, respectively.
