Eugene Ankomah nominated Man of the Year by BEFFTA

There is no stopping Eugene Ankomah who has scooped up yet another award for his groundbreaking art.
The Kensal Rise artist, who lives in Mount Pleasant, has won a Multi-media Visual Artist and Performer of the Year award from Flame International Fashion and Art Festival (FIFAF).
He has also been nominated by BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) for Man of the Year along with Anthony Joshua, Lewis Hamilton and a whole group of influential people .
FIFAF has also made him artist and director for its shows, the first of which takes place online next month. ....

Bolton hair stylist scoops two national awards

A HAIR stylist from Bolton has won two accolades at this year s national British Hair and Beauty Talent Awards recognising individuals across the beauty sector.
Wesley Martin has worked at The Platinum Hair Studio on Blackburn Road for nearly 10 years and is well-known for his creative colouring techniques.
The awards took place virtually due to the pandemic on November 30 and there were 10 finalists in each category.
Wesley won bronze in Colour Technician of the Year and Gold in Best Creative Artist of the Year.
He said:“I am fortunate enough to have my amazing clients allow me to accomplish everything from the most beautiful balayage to striking colour combinations. ....
