A children’s fitness business based in West Kirkby received a social media boost from a Dragon Den star last week as part of his ‘Small Business Sunday’ (SBS) competition. Full of Beans Children’s Fitness & Sport Coaching in West Kirkby was selected as one of six small businesses by popular dragon Theo Paphitis. Last weekend, Full of Beans company director, Nicky Adams tweeted Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by him to his 500,000 Twitter followers. Nicky said: “Full of Beans programmes are proven to improve the lives of the children we work with and we are hoping that the support from SBS will enable us to reach more children by informing schools, teachers and families about what we do. ....
A PUDSEY-based firm has received a business boost from retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis. Last week, James Denton owner of AME Accounting & Co tweeted Paphitis about his business during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by him to his 500,000 Twitter followers. The weekly initiative, set up by Paphitis in 2010, now has more than 2,500 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK. Following the retweet, www.ameaccountingandco.com has doubled its following and doubled enquires for the service. X Factor rapper Honey G signs memoirs deal with Bishop s Stortford book publisher SRL Publishing | Updated: 12:15, 29 December 2020 A Bishop s Stortford book publisher has signed up former X Factor star Honey G in a move that fits with the company s core ethos. SRL Publishing produces books, through its Breaking The Silence ethos, that have helped people through bereavement, depression in children, LGBT issues and has now recently turned to climate change and mental health. Honey G, who came fifth in the 2016 X Factor competition and whose real name is Anna Gifford, lost two stone since the country was plunged into lockdown in March by taking part in intensive exercise sessions and mammoth triathlons. ....
