NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tulane wrapped up its 2021 Signing Class on Wednesday. The Green Wave inked 18 players for this fall, under the direction of head coach Willie Fritz, who will begin his sixth season in Uptown.
Tulane’s signing day class was well represented across the country as the Green Wave had 10 states showcased. All 18 of the Green Wave’s signees earned three-star ratings from various recruiting sites.
The 18 Green Wave signees will join transfers Devin Brumfield (RB, Utah), Derrion Rakestraw (DB, Colorado), Lance robinson (CB, Kansas State) and Cyron Sutton (WR, McNeese State) for the start of the 2021 campaign when Tulane welcomes Oklahoma to Yulman Stadium on Sept. 4. ....

Thirty Years Ago (1990)
Snow on Friday, Dec. 21, ensured a white Christmas, but the bitterly cold temperatures through the week threatened holiday travel plans and caused many cars not to start. High temperatures were below zero, with lows near 20 below. BP Schools closed at 1:15 p.m. Friday due to the threatening weather. Highs on Saturday were near 10 below zero and by Sunday morning, temperatures dropped to 25 below. Wind chill factors throughout the week made traveling dangerous. Towing services and service stations were swamped with calls for assistance starting cars due to the bitter cold. ....
