The HERO program launched in February 2020 in western Lucas County for around 75 patients. Since then, they've seen an 82% reduction in patient 911 calls for falls.

SYLVANIA, Ohio A dog was recused Sunday from a partially frozen pond at ProMedica Flower Hospital.
Members of the Sylvania Township Fire Department worked to rescue the dog after it fell into the water in the middle of the pond. The open water was surrounded by ice.
The dog appeared to be OK following the rescue.
