ISLAMABAD: As the nation continues its fight against the coronavirus pandemic with another consignment of vaccine from China scheduled to arrive on Sunday (today), the government has not overlooked the Pakistani travellers stranded in other countries after some international airlines cancelled their flights.
Presuming ease of travel restrictions by the authorities, the airlines had scheduled extra flights to Pakistan and made bookings as well but then cancelled those flights after the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) maintained travel curbs considering the rise in Covid cases in some areas. ....

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) on Friday extended travel restrictions on category-C countries South Africa, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Ireland, Portugal and the Netherlands till February 28, though travellers from these countries can still come to Pakistan if allowed by the National Command and Operation Centre. The PCAA also reduced the PCR test requirement for the countries categorised as B and C from 96 to 72 hours.

Pakistan Extends Travel Restrictions on UK, Ireland And 4 Other Countries
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has decided to prolong the imposition of its travel restrictions on the Category C countries to 28 February.
Citizens and passengers from South Africa, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Ireland, Portugal, and the Netherlands can only travel to Pakistan if they are permitted by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
