The Four County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services has approved a resolution that will lead to placement of a seven-tenths mill renewal levy on the ballot in November of this year. The action took place at their meeting on Thursday. The funding from this levy represents about 65% of the budget for Adams board services throughout the year, including mental health, addiction, family violence treatment, and prevention services.
This levy would be on the ballot in Defiance, Henry, Fulton and Williams Counties, where residents have approved the issue each five years, for a period of almost 40 years. ....
