New Delhi, April 6 (IANS) In a major reshuffle at the Centre on Tuesday, senior IAS official Tarun Bajaj was appointed as new Secretary, Revenue, in the Finance Ministry, while Ajay Seth replaces him as Secretary, Economic Affairs.

A staggering 617,000 desperate Queenslanders have ripped about $9.1 billion from their superannuation accounts to survive as an expert warns the nation to prepare for a sluggish economic recovery.
New figures have revealed Queenslanders have made up 25 per cent of approved applicants under the government s early access to superannuation scheme, which was introduced in response to COVID-19.
The scheme, which allows people who have lost hours or employment to access up to $10,000 from their super, has raised fears from some experts that young Queenslanders could be worse off in retirement. ....

MTAA Super and Tasplan officially merged today to become Spirit Super and have announced a reduction in its administration fee.
From today, the fund’s flat rate admin fee would decrease from $1.50 per week to $1.30 per week, and its total admin fee cap would reduce from $528 per year to $517.60 per year.
Spirit Super chief executive, Leeanne Turner, said the purpose of the merger was to provide better service, products, and value to members.
