Banksy artwork sells for incredible price after last minute bidder swoops into Dalton Leisure Centre's charity auction


A PRIVATE bidder swooped in at the last minute to place an impressive bid on a postcard-sized Banksy creation that was up for auction to save Dalton Leisure Centre.
The 2008 Banksy piece titled ‘More Room Upstairs’ was donated by a private collector to HeART, an online auction to save the leisure centre, the 2008 artwork by street artist Banksy titled ‘More Room Upstairs’.
The bidding for the piece finished at 8pm on Saturday night, and with just minutes to go a private bidder won the artwork with a £1,500 bid.
Although the HeART auction was for the benefit of Dalton Leisure Centre, half of the profits made from the Banksy picture will be donated to Self-Harm Awareness For All (SAFA). ....
