Woman randomly punched in head several times on subway in Brooklyn

Police say the 38-year-old woman was punched in the back of her head by the man.
When she turned around, he punched her in the face, and then struck her several more times.
It happened on Sunday, March 7 at 6:50 a.m. as the train was arriving at the Myrtle/Wyckoff avenues station.
The attacker then got off the train and fled.
The woman suffered pain and bruising to her face.
The man is described as Black, 30-40 years old, 5 10 , and 180-190lbs. He was wearing a black du-rag, a gray sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Search for man who struck teen in head with bottle on subway in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, New York (WABC) A search is underway for a man who struck a teenager in the head with a glass bottle while on a subway train in Brooklyn.
Police say the 18-year-old woman and the suspect got into an argument Wednesday at around 8 p.m., while on a northbound N train.
The man then grabbed a liquor bottle, hit her on the forehead with it, then got off the train at 4th Avenue and 36th Street.
The victim suffered a cut to her forehead. She was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.
She was treated and released.
The attacker is described as a man in his 20 s, with a medium complexion, approximately 5 7 tall, weighing 130 lbs., with a slim build and a ponytail. ....

2 men slashed on subway hold suspect for police on Upper East Side

Surveillance video showed the child walking with an adult 10 minutes earlier on Leggett Avenue.
The two men managed to hold Barbuto at the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue station until officers arrived. Police said one of the victims threw his UPS jacket over the suspect, disorienting him
Barbuto is charged with two counts of assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was undergoing psychiatric evaluation at Bellevue Hospital.
The victims were taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital for treatment of superficial wounds.
A knife was recovered from the scene.
