Public health authorities have removed the United Kingdom from Malta s travelling red zone, and will now be placed on the amber list.
Any traveller arriving in Malta from the United Kingdom, or any other country listed in the amber list, is required to present a negative PCR COVID-19 test performed no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Malta.
Those who fail to produce a negative test will be submitted to testing in Malta, and may be subject to quarantine. ....

Malta Film Commissioner Johann Grech is currently holding a number of listening sessions with the Malta Film Crew, listening to their stories, experiences and challenges.
Listening Sessions are currently being organised with film crew from all departments. 
The Malta Film Commissioner Johann Grech said that such listening sessions are being done to create a sustainable film industry, where opportunities are for all. He highlighted the fact that since January 2021, Malta had already attracted 7 international productions.

Government’s financial aid scheme to bars and clubs has been extended until the end of March.  
Addressing annual general meeting of the Band Clubs Association, the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo said the decision has been taken in light of the announcement that bars and clubs will remain closed until the end of next month.  
Bars and social clubs were forced to close in October, after coronavirus cases in the country spiked. They were set to reopen before Christmas festivities on 1 December but are set to remained closed until at least the end of March.  ....
