That study s conclusion was that viewers watched let s plays at a far higher clip than, say, video game trailers. Two-thirds of those views appeared to be watchers focusing on the video itself, whereas the other third were watching on secondary devices/screens in order to find tips and tricks for completing the game in question. Both were conducive to promoting the gaming industry, being a method for finding out if a game is worth buying and because gamers know they have a resource to help complete a game. ....
Journey to the Savage Planet Broken on Google Stadia With No Fix in Sight A bug has made Journey to the Savage Planet unplayable on Google Stadia. The issue was brought up on Reddit by user Lordubuntu after discovering that the game freezes on its home screen. Google referred the poster to 505 Games, but the publisher stated they can t do anything to fix the game because Google owns the code and data for the Stadia version. Complicating matters, Google dissolved Stadia Games & Entertainment earlier this month, including Savage Planet developer Typhoon Studios. What that means is there s basically no one left to fix the game on the platform, leaving users out of luck. ....
What you need to know Google, Bungie and id Software are facing a class-action lawsuit over claims of running games on Stadia at 4K. The lawsuit claims that the development studios and Google mislead consumers with what the streaming service was capable of. The plaintiffs are seeking full restitution for the purchase price of Stadia and/or any damages incurred as a result of the purchase. Google, id Software and Bungie are facing a class-action lawsuit over the capabilities of the Stadia streaming platform. The lawsuit, which is 42 pages long, specifically alleges that Google and the other companies were misleading about the performance of games on Stadia, pointing to how Doom Eternal was initially advertised as running at 4K 60 FPS with HDR on the platform before being scaled back at launch. ....
