Coaching Staffs Have Been Chosen for the 2021 Wyoming Shrine Bowl
Wyoming Shrine Bowl Executive Director Frank Selby released the information on Tuesday.
North Team head coach Matt McFadden, from Cody, chose Thunder Basin’s Trent Pikula, Cody’s Jim Talich, Kirk McLaughlin from Big Horn, Wright’s Larry Yeradi, and Zeb Hagen from Meeteetse to join his staff.
South Team head coach Brent Walk, from Mountain View, picked Paul Garcia from Cheyenne East, Wes Gamble of Douglas, Mountain View’s Michael Collins, Saratoga’s Logan Wright, and Jack Cobb from Little Snake River to be part of his coaching staff. ....

Last week it was announced that Head Coach of Cody Bronc Football, Matt McFadden, has been chosen to coach the North Team in the 48
th annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl. McFadden will be the head coach in this contest for the first time since 2015. I was able to catch up with coach McFadden to talk to him about the honor, what it’s like coaching this game and more. Coach McFadden on being tabbed as one of the games best Head Coaches.
“It’s an honor. Voted by your fellow coaches and that’s always a big honor. It’s a terrific cause. So to be able to go out and a chance to coach some of these Cody seniors one more time is really what kind of drives me but it’s an awesome cause. It’s a terrific game, you’ve got terrific athletes and yeah, it’s another chance to play football. Really excited about it.” ....

Matt McFadden from Cody High School will be the North Team Head Coach.
Brent Walk of Mountain View High School will be the South Team Head Coach.
High school football coaches from across the state of Wyoming nominate one coach among their peers to serve in this role. That is according to a release from the Wyoming Shrine Bowl Executive Director. One coach is chosen from the North and one is picked from the South.
The 48th annual game is planned for Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Cheney Alumni Field at Natrona County High School in Casper. ....

Cody Bronc football’s Matt McFadden has been selected as one of the Head Coaches for the 48
th annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl.
This is the fist time that Coach McFadden will be the head coach for the Shrine Bowl since 2015.
McFadden will be the North Team Head Coach. Brent Walk, of Mountain View, has been selected as the South Team Head Coach.

According to the Wyoming Shrine Bowl Executive director, coaches are nominated by other coaches across the state.
Both head coaches will now begin the selection process of picking their five assistants. Following that they will build their rosters with players who are nominated by their coaches. ....
