Addressing a media briefing on Tuesday, Mr George Okol, the NWSC director commercial and customer services, said instead of disconnecting customers, they will engage to understand the root cause of the problem as well as seek to bring back those that have quit.  ....

An Auckland businessman who gained notoriety after his $400,000 Lamborghini was towed because he misused a disabled parking spot has had the luxury car repossessed and sold over unpaid debts.
Gerard Peters, 30, hit headlines
in 2015 after his $400,000 Lamborghini was photographed in a disabled parking spot at West Auckland shopping complex LynnMall.
While Peters was able to pay that $400 parking fine and reclaim his vehicle, more recent - and substantial - debts have seen that Lamborghini and five other luxury cars he owned seized and sold to satisfy short-changed creditors. ....

More than 50 intern and community service doctors who were not paid salaries for January will get their money by February 22, Gauteng s health department said on Thursday.
The SA Medical Association Trade Union raised the alarm on Wednesday, saying it had received reports that at least 48 interns, 14 community service doctors and several doctors under Covid-19 contracts in the province had not been paid. ....

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - One out of every five parking tickets issued in Hawaii over the last five years has gone unpaid, Hawaii News Now has learned.
That amounts to nearly $11 million in uncollected fines, state records show.
The top offenders for unpaid fines are rental car companies. Thousands more tickets can’t be traced to anyone at all because of data entry mistakes, bad handwriting and other issues. ....
