BCCI frames 3-members committee to look after JKCA affairs

JAMMU, June 15: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today constituted a three members committee to look after the affair of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) in a meeting in which Retd Brig Anil Gupta (Senior BJP leader) has been appointed Administrator while two other members including Sunil Sethi who is also BJP spokesperson as legal expert and Mithun Manhas a veteran cricketer as a member.
The development regarding formation of the committee was confirmed by the newly appointed Administrator of the JKCA, Retd Brig Anil Gupta with Excelsior.
He disclosed that a meeting was held under the leadership of BCCI president Sourav Ganguly in presence of secretary BCCI Jai Shah and treasure Arun Dhumal wherein three members committee including him were part of the committee to look after the day to day affair of the JKCA. ....

SRINAGAR: A senior Jammu and Kashmir cricket team player is being probed for alleged charges of nepotism and favouritism after a written complaint was filed against him with the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
JKCA Chief Executive Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari has now sent a letter to the senior player asking him to explain his stand on the allegations.
“In order to substantiate the contents of the memorandum by providing a reasonable opportunity to you under the rule, you are hereby asked to attend the office of the undersigned on 22-02-2021 at 2 p.m sharp at Jammu so, that your statement can be recorded and further action as warranted under the rule shall be taken into the matter,” the letter reads. ....
