The Election Commission of Pakistan has removed Daska Assistant Commissioner Asif Hussain over negligence during Silakot s NA-75 by-elections.
Daska DSPs Ramzan and Zulfiqar Virk have been removed from the post as well.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has ordered re-polling in Sialkotâs NA-75 after the results of the February 19 by-elections were challenged by the members of the opposition.
The PML-N accused the PTI of attempting to rig the elections after some presiding members had gone missing during the vote count on the nights that votes were cast.

SAMAA - Presiding officers tampered with Daska election results: returning officer

The returning officer in National Assembly constituency NA-75 Daska has recommended re-polling at 14 polling stations in Daska tehsil, saying election results were “tampered” by presiding officers. The recommendation was made after eight presiding officers were interviewed by the Punjab election commissioner. SAMAA - NA-75 by-election results withheld, PML-N accuses PTI of rigging polls

The results of Sialkot s NA-75 by-election have been withheld after the PML-N accused the ruling PTI of attempting to rig the by-polls. The voting was held from 8am to 5pm on Friday. Voting at some polling stations in Dask was halted after two people were killed and seven injured in a firing incident. After the counting, the Election Commission of Pakistan received results of 337 polling stations, while the results of 23 stations came in late after the presiding officers went missing last night. The presiding officers approached the ECP in the morning and said that they came in late because of fog. The ECP has ordered an inquiry into presiding officers going missing and subs. ....
