Novatek Secures Buyers for All Arctic LNG 2 Volumes
PAO Novatek, Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer, has contracted all of the supply from its proposed Arctic LNG 2 export project under development north of Siberia on the Gydan Peninsula.
The company said it has signed 20-year sales and purchase agreements (SPA) with the project’s participants for its 19.8 million metric tons/year capacity. Arctic LNG 2 includes three trains that are slated to come online between 2023 and 2026. Novatek holds a 60% stake, while China National Offshore Oil Corp., China National Petroleum Corp, Japan Arctic LNG and Total SE each hold 10%. 
The SPAs provide for LNG supplies on a free-on-board basis and include pricing formulas linked to unspecified international oil and gas benchmarks.  ....

Russia s Artic LNG 2 project continues to advance, with the signing of long-term sales and purchase agreements (SPAs) for the entirety of LNG production
Russia’s Novatek has announced that the Arctic LNG 2 joint venture has concluded 20-year SPAs with all project participants. Offtake volumes are in proportion to ownership stakes, and the JV comprises Novatek (60pc), Total (10pc), Chinese NOCs CNPC (10pc) and Cnooc (10pc) and Japan Arctic LNG (10pc), which is a combination of Japanese firms Mitsui and Jogmec.
LNG sales from the project’s first liquefaction train are scheduled to start in 2023. The development will eventually comprise three 6.6mn t/yr trains for a total capacity of 19.8mn t/yr, plus an additional total across the three trains of 1.6mn t/yr in condensate production capacity. ....

PAO NOVATEK announced that its joint venture OOO Arctic LNG 2 concluded 20-year LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for the total LNG production volumes with all the Project’s participants. The LNG sales from Arctic LNG 2’s first liquefaction train is planned to commence in 2023.
The SPAs provide for LNG supplies from Arctic LNG 2 on FOB Murmansk and FOB Kamchatka basis with pricing formulas linked to international oil and gas benchmarks. The LNG offtake volumes are set in proportion to the respective participants ownership stakes in the Project. ....
