The scene of the crash at Ringmer A DANGEROUS driver wrote-off his BMW just a day after buying it when he crashed into a tractor on a country road. Harry Dennis, 21, bought the new vehicle and wanted to take it for a spin, racing his friend Danny Stiller, 21. The pair were seen by witnesses driving at high-speed near The Broyle, Ringmer. Dennis overtook Stiller in his Honda Civic, clocking an average speed of 101mph on the B2192 towards Halland. At a turn in the road, Dennis’s BMW struck a tractor driven by Jeremy Sampson, who suffered serious injuries including a broken cheek bone. ....
ONE of the youngest members of the Basingstoke Street Gang has been locked up after breaching an injunction order four times in one month. The 16-year-old from Beggarwood, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was one of ten male teenagers banned from socialising at a court hearing in March after police raised concerns about criminal activity linked to the group. As previously reported, the youngster breached the court order twice within days and was given a three-month supervision order, meaning he had to regularly meet the police s youth offending team. Now, the boy has appeared again before Basingstoke Magistrates Court, accused of two further breaches. ....
