I go through this every single summer. The battle of Billy and the chemicals. Clearly, I should’ve paid more attention in science class but I’m awful at getting the balance between chorine and alkaline in my pool.
We’ve had a salt water pool for about 3 years and you’d think I’d have this figured out by now. Nope. I’m constantly adding a bag of salt, then acid, then backwashing to lower the levels…then adding more water and starting the cycle over again. I’ve come to the realization that the old adage is true…the best pool is someone else’s. Lol ....
