MANSFIELD Workforce development and public transportation go hand-in-hand, according to Clint Knight, who becomes the new chairman of the Richland County Transit Board in January.
Given his role as director of workforce development for the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, his selection to lead the RCT board was a natural, according to Richland County commissioners.
Clint is a logical choice for the position, Commissioner Tony Vero said after the unanimous appointment was made Tuesday. His experience in workforce development in both the public and private sectors makes him an excellent fit in transit.
