Man shot in Meriden early Sunday  Man shot in Meriden early Sunday  December 21, 2020 04:57PM By Lauren Sellew, Record-Journal staff MERIDEN â A man shot in the leg early Sunday suffered non-life threatening injuries. An officer on routine patrol in the area of Columbia Street and Lewis Avenue was flagged down by the injured man around 3:20 a.m., Police Chief Robert Rosado said. He was brought to the hospital for treatment. The location where the man was found is near John Barry Elementary School, but Rosado said the incident is not connected to the school in any way.  Mayor Kevin Scarpati said he was notified of the shooting as well. ....
