DISTRICT SEEKS VOLUNTEERS: The Geauga Trumbull Solid Waste Management District has kicked off its litter cleanup campaign. The program, called the Great American Cleanup, is part of a national campaign through Keep America Beautiful. Local volunteers receive trash bags, litter grabbers, safety vests and gloves. All cleanup volunteers will receive an Earth Day T-shirt while supplies last as a thank you gift. Service groups, neighborhood clubs, schools, Scouts and communities seek out littered areas and then register their cleanup date to receive supplies.
