State Police Seize $500,000 Worth of THC Edibles During Traffic Stop in Lebanon County State Police from the Jonestown Barracks made an unexpected drug bust early Saturday morning in Lebanon County. According to Troopers, around 1:00am, Saturday, a traffic stop was made near mile marker 1.5 on Interstate 78 in Union Township, Lebanon County, on a vehicle for multiple vehicle code violations. During the course of the traffic stop, Troopers noticed multiple indicators that criminal activity was taking place. A State Police K9 was deployed on the vehicle and alerted police of the presence of narcotics. A search warrant was prepared and executed where over 9,000 grams of THC edibles, over 9,500 THC cartridges, and over 450 THC candy bars were seized. ....
Three Schuylkill County Men Charged with Stealing and Torching Classic Corvette Three men from Schuylkill County are locked up in Lebanon County Prison after they allegedly stole and torched a classic Corvette in Lebanon County earlier this week. According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown, on Monday, March 15th, 2021, around 2:20am, Troopers from the Jonestown Barracks responded to the Twin Grove Campground on Suedberg Road, Union Township, Lebanon County to assist the fire department with a vehicle fire. The vehicle that was on fire was found to be a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette. While at the scene, an employee of Joe May s garage, located on Route 72 in Union Township, reported to troopers that their impound lot had been broken into and a blue 1964 Corvette had been stolen. ....
11 Crashes Reported on Interstate 81 in Lebanon County Within 4 Hours Christmas Evening The Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown report that they responded to 11 crashes Christmas evening in Lebanon County. According to troopers, Troopers responded to 11 crashes between the hours of 8:00pm and midnight on December 25th, 2020 on Interstate 81 between mile markers 85 and 93. The crashes were due to cold temperatures and icy roadway conditions and included commercial vehicles. The Interstate was closed at Exit 85 and with traffic being rerouted onto Route 22 and reopened around 1:00am.
