Robin Autopilot, a leader in robotic mowing technology and the robotics as a service (RaaS) platform, announced that it would be consolidating its corporate headquarters with its recently acquired franchise business, North Carolina-based Mowbot and relocating to McKinney. Robin’s new headquarters will initially occupy 10,000 square feet with an option to expand at 7850 Collin McKinney Pkwy.
Robin was represented throughout the selection process by CBRE, led by Rene Castillo, and Jackson Walker, led by Luke Franz. Robin is one of the many tech companies that have recently announced their expansion or relocation into McKinney via the Innovation Fund; other startups like Alanna.ai, MyTelemedicine, and ContraForce also recently opened headquarters in the city.

Allen-based developer JaRyCo broke ground this week on
The Farm in Allen, a 135-acre mixed-use project that will include 1.6 million square feet of office, 142,000 square feet of retail, a 150-key hotel, 60,000 square feet of restaurants, townhomes, and urban residential units. Work will begin with the development’s infrastructure, including the roads and utilities, followed by construction of West Lake Park, the phase one trails, and the public parking garage.
Last month, JaRyCo announced it will develop 102,000 square feet of class A office space, called FarmWORK One.
