Amorós had spent nearly a decade at Tottenham Hotspur, guiding the team into the Barclays FA Women’s Super League alongside joint head coach Karen Hills. After departing Spurs just a few weeks ago, he will now begin his first adventure in the Primera Iberdrola this Monday. The first task will be ensure Betis stay up, as they are currently just goal-difference off the bottom of Spain’s 18-team top tier, with seven points from 14 games and five defeats in a row.
