WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Purdue Sports) Junior Grace Cleveland and freshman Taylor Trammell were named Big Ten Weekly Award winners following a split weekend at then-No. 10 Penn State.
Cleveland picked up Defensive Player of the Week honors for her first conference honor of the season while Trammell was selected as Freshman of the Week. It is the second time this season multiple Boilermakers were selected in a given week – a feat only accomplished one other time in the program s history (Sept. 15 and Oct. 20, 2008). ....
