CHARITIES all over Swindon and Wiltshire will have a merry Christmas thanks to the help from a company based in the town.
Property search business X-Press Legal Services in Liden donated to good causes that were chosen by their clients to bring some festive cheer at the end of they year.
The team normally give out hampers and presents to their loyal customers before the holidays – but this year was different.
Instead, owner Linda Mannion decided to give something back to communities around the county who have been hit hard by the months of lockdowns and uncertainty caused by the global coronavirus pandemic. ....

X-Press Legal Services has, this year, made the decision to make donations to charity instead of gifting Christmas hampers to clients this year,
A total of £1,000 has been donated to several local charities chosen by the company s clients.
The charities include Mind Wiltshire, Cancer Research UK, Julia’s House Children’s Charity, the Trussell Trust, Alzheimer’s Society, First Light Trust, and Meningitis Now. X-Press also donated a food parcel to the Devizes and District Food Bank, helping to provide much needed food, drink and everyday supplies to those who need them across the local area.
Owner of X-Press, Linda Mannion, said: “Although we have been fortunate enough to carry on with business as usual this year, as have our clients, we know the pandemic has presented a difficult and uncertain time for many.
