The late pitcher gets No. 10 retired before the game against Winnipeg

FARGO, N.D. Its July 19th and its only fitting that before Monday’s game against the Winnipeg Goldeyes that the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks retired the greatest number 19 in their franchise’s history, Jake Laber.
No pitcher has spent more time on the mound for the RedHawks than Laber. The Fargo North, Post 2 and North Dakota State alum is the only to start in 100 games and holds records for wins, strikeouts and innings pitched.
Laber’s name and number will forever hold a spot at Newman Outdoor field alongside Jeff Bettinger’s 35 and Jeff Mathis’s number 9.

PIKETON, Ohio. Students from Wheelersburg High School won the Department of Energy’s annual South Central Ohio Regional Science Bowl, which was conducted virtually and concluded on April 8.
With the win, the Pirates will represent their region among more than 60 teams competing at DOE’s National Science Bowl® (NSB) Finals, which will be conducted virtually from April 29 to May 3.
PIKETON, Ohio. â Students from Wheelersburg High School won the Department of Energyâs annual South Central Ohio Regional Science Bowl, which was conducted virtually and concluded on April 8.
With the win, the Pirates will represent their region among more than 60 teams competing at DOEâs National Science Bowl® (NSB) Finals, which will be conducted virtually from April 29 to May 3.
This marks the fourth win in the past five years for Wheelersburg, besting 22 other teams in the tournament. The remainder of the top four teams were Chillicothe High School, Lucasville Valley High School, and Clay High School.
The Science Bowl has been a strong educational force for counties in the area that is home to DOEâs former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant site in Pike County, said Portsmouth Site Lead Jeff Bettinger of DOEâs Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office.

Premier Scott Moe declined an invitation to accompany the leader of the Opposition on a visit to overburdened intensive care units (ICUs), saying it would be “highly inappropriate” as families face restrictions on seeing their loved ones.
During question period in the Saskatchewan legislature on Monday, NDP Leader Ryan Meili challenged the premier to make the visit to see first hand the stresses health workers face as they battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
