WBGZ Radio 2/8/2021 | By Mark Ellebracht - WBGZ Radio The Riverbend Growth Association has announced new leadership for its board of directors along with new board members for 2021. Local COUNTRY Financial representative Jeff Lauritzen has been selected the new Chairman, while 1 st MidAmerica Credit Union President Alan Meyer was named Chair-elect. Lauritzen has been with COUNTRY Financial since 2013 and before that worked in the banking industry. In addition to the Growth Association, he has also volunteered on boards serving Asbury Village, the East End Improvement Association, the United Way, and St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Meyer has also been involved with the RGBA and the United Way, as well as the American Cancer Society and the Illinois Credit Union League. The Board also selected four new members to serve three-year terms: Jake Bodi, Superintendent of Business Administration & Customer Service for Ameren Illinois; James Rogalsky, Co-Owner of Old ....

Lauritzen has a degree in Ag Business from Illinois State University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. Professionally he has earned ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designations. After 16 years in the banking industry, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own COUNTRY Financial office in 2013. He has served the community in various volunteer capacities, including the Asbury Village Board, East End Improvement Association past president and board member, United Way of Southwest Illinois 2013 Campaign chairperson and board member and St. Ambrose Catholic Church Finance Council member. ....
