Alleged serial killer faces death penalty trial in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY —
Jury selection continued Tuesday in the death penalty trial of an alleged serial killer accused of kidnapping and killing an Oklahoma woman more than 20 years ago.
William Lewis Reece, 61, faces charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping in the 1997 killing of 19-year-old Tiffany Johnston, who was abducted from a car wash in Bethany, Oklahoma. Her body was found the next day in Canadian County.
The Oklahoman newspaper reported that District Judge Susan Stallings had potential jurors questioned one at a time, and away from others, about their opinions on the death penalty. Jury selection began Monday.
A Texas Ranger testified during a preliminary hearing in 2017 that Reece acknowledged killing “the Oklahoma girl” during an interview in March 2016. He’s also suspected of killing a woman and two girls in Texas in 1997.

CONCORD, NH — If you did not know it already, two New Hampshire cities have made the Wall Street Journal/Realtor.com "emerging housing markets index" list.
This list, issued on Tuesday, posted Concord as the 8th hottest emerging housing market in the nation and Manchester-Nashua in 9th place. Currently, according to the report and real estate watchers, the residential real estate market is one of the most popular investments — with owner-occupied housing in the United States valued at around $32 trillion.

BATON ROUGE - A local nonprofit that works with Baton Rouge teens in projects that teach life and leadership skills hosted a fresh food box giveaway Saturday (December 12) morning, and the results of the event exceeded organizer's expectations.
Volunteers with the charity, Outstanding Mature Girlz, were up bright and early at 8599 Joor Road on Saturday morning, ready to dole out food to the public by way of a Fresh Farm Box Drive Thru program that would begin at 10 a.m.
