After allegedly discovering money and drugs in a state parolee’s house, police are charging the Altoona man with several drug-related crimes.
Joshua Powell, 36, was arraigned Monday by Magisterial District Judge Daniel DeAntonio, following drug charges against his roommate, Jennifer Markel, according to court documents.
The Mirror previously reported Markel was charged in two separate incidents involving significant amounts of controlled substances, including cocaine.
On Feb. 12, Pennsylvania State Parole agents conducted a check on Powell, and during a search of his home on the 1600 block of Fourth Street, they allegedly discovered a significant amount of suspected methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, ecstasy pills, drug paraphernalia and cash, police reported. ....
