Wimbledon all but secure survival - Fred Teasdale - Tiffin School League one AFC Wimbledon achieved a huge victory in their fight to avoid relegation with a draw at home to fellow lower side Rochdale. They drew three goals to three with an incredible game which went back and forth. Wimbledon now need just one point to guarantee safety which seems very possible but they are not safe yet. The opening minutes of the game were devoid of any chances with both teams failing to register a single shot on target and possession mostly equal. However it was Rochadale who had the first shot on target in the 41st minute with Wimbledon conceding a corner and Jake Beesley scoring from close range to the centre of the goal. After the break Wimbledon conceded again with Conor Shaughnessy assisting Gabriel Osho who scored a header from the centre to the bottom left corner.
