Lorraine Rates of Brownstown, and formerly of New Boston, lived nearby the Waltz Inn and went there often. It was always fresh and really homemade, Rates said. It was just good. The atmosphere was good. It was small and intimate. Rates visited the restaurant with friends and family for its encrusted fish and chicken dishes. She is sad to see them close. Especially if it s from COVID, Rates said. It was a local eatery and my daughter texted me saying it s a bummer. ....
