The Marion County Board of Commissioners met for the regular meeting and as usual, the main topic was roads in Marion County.
County Engineer Brice Goebel opened up the roads portion of the meeting answering public questions about a road that was part of a bus route. Goebel wasn’t sure what all had been done on the road, but he said he would look into it.
The commissioners and Goebel discussed the need for getting more complete sections of roads done rather than “just patches here and there”.
Goebel mentioned a road paver tracker available through the Star Program that tracks when roads are bladed and other improvements so that records can be kept.
