OLYMPIA, Wash. The sponsor of legislation to designate a state dinosaur is defending her measure from critics who said COVID-19 related issues should be the priority for lawmakers.
Rep. Melanie Morgan is the prime sponsor of House Bill 1067, a move to name Suciasaurus the official dinosaur of the state of Washington.
