Also debuting for the first time is the Dutch Dance Costume Exhibit, which features intricately designed, handmade costumes and other artifacts.
The marketplace is available 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, May 5-8. Timed tickets are $8 per person and required for entry.
For safety reasons, guests are asked to refrain from visiting if they feel sick or exhibit any symptoms of illness. All visitors must wear a mask or face shield and maintain a six-foot distance between themselves and other guests.

Tulip Time is back, drawing tourists to Holland again
This week, the city is welcoming visitors back with open arms for a scaled-down Tulip Time festival.
Local hotel rooms are sold out for the night of May 1, the first official day of Tulip Time, according to Holland Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Linda Hart.
Although going into next weekend s hotel occupancy rates are lower than what the area normally sees during the festival, Hart said she expects a lot of this year s visitors are coming from other parts of Michigan and the Midwest and may book their rooms last-minute.
It could be that people are waiting to decide whether to come, Hart said. ....

Holland's Tulip Time Festival is back — but with changes

HOLLAND There won t be a parade, immersion garden or carnival, but Tulip Time is slated to return in 2021.
An official event schedule was released on Tuesday, March 2, by the Tulip Time organization, which plans the festival of the same name.
Since 1929, Holland has blossomed with literally hundreds of thousands of tulips during the festival.
This year s schedule includes a pared-down list of events, including a virtual Tulip Time Run. Registrants will receive a participant bib and medal and can run anytime, anywhere. Running shirts and hoodies will be available.
The popular Artisan Market will also be going virtual. The event typically takes place in Centennial Park, but will instead move to the Tulip Time website from Saturday, April 24, through the end of the festival. The application deadline was Sunday, Feb. 28, and selected artists will be informed Friday, March 5. ....

Few places can match the beauty of Holland in the spring when millions of tulips bloom with amazing colors in local parks, fill attractions and line the streets. Holland will be beautiful, and Tulip Time celebration will continue – however, with a twist.
The health and safety of visitors, volunteers, and the community are of utmost importance to the Tulip Time organization.
Following the CDC directives and guidelines issued by the State of Michigan, which currently stipulate no more than 25 people can gather outdoors at an event, must forego some of Tulip Time s most enduring festival events this year – parades, Dutch Dance performances, and the carnival. ....
