NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE Benjamin J. Danzo joined his parents and two brothers in Heaven on January 6, 2021. His passing was due to complications of COVID-19.
He was born in East Liverpool, OH on November 24, 1941, the son of Nellie and Antonio Danzo. Upon graduation from St. Aloysius School, he followed a call from God and enrolled in the Seminary of the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers (Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America). In 1959, after two-and-a-half years at Seminary, Ben returned to East Liverpool to graduate from East Liverpool High School.
Always striving for more education, he attended and graduated from the Ohio Valley Business College, which prepared him to work in the office at Crucible Steel in Midland, PA. To pursue his love of science, Ben left the work force and enrolled in the College of Steubenville, from where he graduated in 1965. His next educational pursuit was met by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Biology in 1967 from ....

MILLPORT, Ohio – Dorothy A. Copeland, age 95, of Millport, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center in Louisville where she had been residing.
Born in Elkton, Ohio, September 19, 1925, Dorothy was a daughter of the late Morris and Norma Young Ketchum and was a resident of the area all her life. A member of the David Anderson High School Class of 1943, she worked at Minerva Wax Paper from 1966 to 1988, having previously, worked at TRW. At one time, she owned and operated the former Crystal Springs Bed and Breakfast at their home.
Dorothy maintained a strong faith in God through her membership in the Bethesda Presbyterian Church where she was a deacon, a choir member and active in the Presbyterian Women’s Association. She also was known for decorating the church during the holiday season. ....

Community serves 200,000 meals to East Liverpool students | News, Sports, Jobs

EAST LIVERPOOL For this holiday season, volunteers hit a landmark accomplishment.
Not only have they distributed close to 200,000 meals to East Liverpool students since classroom doors were shuttered in 2020 due to the pandemic, members of the school district staff and the community donated almost $7,000 through the effort of city Councilman Jeff Kreefer and his project to provide gift cards, hams and turkeys to families in need within the district. ....
