Nearly 350 lbs. of marijuana seized, man arrested after routine traffic stop in Laramie County

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A routine pullover outside of Cheyenne led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man after a Wyoming highway patrol trooper uncovered nearly 350 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle he was driving.
Court documents obtained from the Laramie county circuit court state that Darwin Alberto Ponce Alvarado, of California, was arrested by a trooper with the Wyoming Highway Patrol during early evening hours of March 3rd.
The trooper reports in the affidavit of probable cause that they observed a white Ford Expedition fail to maintain its lane while traveling on Roundtop Road. ....
