Numerous Alberta MLAs refuse to say if they're planning on getting vaccinated


 
CALGARY
As the province gets set to open up COVID-19 immunizations to every adult in Alberta, some elected officials are keeping tight-lipped on their vaccine decisions. 
CTV News has reached out to all 87 Alberta MLAs to ask about their vaccination plans. 
Nineteen of those MLAs have refused to answer the question, even after repeated calls and emails. Of those 19, 18 are members of the United Conservative Party caucus. 
The other MLA, Lesser Slave Lake s Pat Rehn, was recently kicked out of the party.

Every other respondent including all 24 NDP MLAs and 38 other UCP MLAs said they have either already received a shot or they plan to get one soon.  ....

Devon council votes to reduce cost of home-based business licences

Devon town council met virtually for its regular meeting of council on Jan. 25.
Administration presented an amendment to Bylaw 894/2016 – Business Licenses, which would reduce the current fees for home-based business licenses from $100 for the initial fee and $50 for the annual renewal to $25 for both new licenses and renewals.
