In Dillingham, 60% percent of people 16 and older are vaccinated against COVID-19

Sixty percent of people 16 and older in Dillingham are now vaccinated against COVID-19. And that number will likely rise. 
 
Dillingham plans to host a number of pop-up COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinics, which are set to start at the end of May and run through July. Interim City Manager Gregg Brelsford says the city plans to use state funding as a stopgap until federal stimulus money, called the American Rescue Plan, becomes available in mid-July.
 
“That’s our estimate right now, based on the information we have, Brelsford said. So we’ve structured our program to go for two months to give us a bridge between now and the time when we should get that additional money. And then we can continue the program if the city wants to at that time.” ....

Around 1,800 people in Bristol Bay have received both doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. That s nearly a quarter of the region s population; according to the state Department of Labor estimates for 2020, about 7,200 people live in Bristol Bay.
As of Monday, the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation has administered the first dose of the vaccine to 1,795 people; 1,159 people have received the second dose. ....

Southcentral Foundation: 337 Moderna vaccine doses overall; 58 people have received both doses of the vaccine.
Due to the increase in cases statewide, certain areas of data entry are lagging far behind real-time and we are not able to update cases with the date they are released from isolation (recovered). As a result, we are removing the active and recovered case counts from the data hub to prevent inaccurate or outdated information from being reported.
A note on case counts: KDLG generally reports COVID-19 case counts from the Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation, the Camai Community Health Center in Naknek, and the state health department. BBAHC says that it reports cases it has identified, while the state’s dashboard reports cases from a wide range of sources. The timing of these announcements sometimes doesn t line up because the state s reporting is not immediately synchr ....
