Free drive-thru COVID-19 testing: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and every second Saturday of the month at the Texas State University Round Rock Campus, 1555 University Blvd. This is a free, state-supported test collection site, operating at no cost to the individual. Participants do not need symptoms to be tested and no insurance is required. No appointments are necessary, although pre-registration at texas.spartancovidtesting.com is recommended. Results will be available three to five days after testing. Participants will receive an automated text and/or email with results once available. East Riverside Drive to receive transit priority lanes

New interim transit priority lanes will be installed on East Riverside Drive through a partnership with the Austin Transportation Department to improve on-time transit performance and efficiency of Capital Metro buses.  
Installation is scheduled to begin in late February, with the project anticipated to open by early April. 
An outbound and inbound transit lane will stretch for two miles between Grove Boulevard and Summit Street. The project will help organize traffic flow with cars and buses in distinct lanes. New signage and updated road markings will establish the transit lanes. Other vehicles can enter the transit priority lanes to make a right turn.  ....
