Riley County confirms 23 new COVID cases; testing at CiCo Park on hold due to extreme cold
Riley County says it could begin easing up COVID restrictions in the coming weeks if case numbers continue to decrease.
On Monday, just 23 new cases along with 89 recoveries were confirmed by the health department, bringing the number of active cases to 186.
Ascension Via Christi Hospital is currently caring for five positive patients, three of which are in the Intensive Care Unit.
Because of extreme cold temperatures forecast over the next several days, the CiCo Park testing location is closed. County health officials said Monday they are searching for an alternative indoor location for testing to resume. ....
