We’ve gotten a few little teasers, and a confirmation that Michael C. Hall will still be murdering people in the new Showtime show, which will not, tragically, be a low-key drama about the perils and pitfalls of Pacific Northwest logging operations. Now, we’ve gotten another one of these little dribs and drabs: Our first look at Dexter Morgan, circa 2021 or, should we say, Regular Human Man “Jim Lindsay.” ....

The events centered on a sudden wave of UFO sightings, with reports by police and citizens in March 1966. It began on March 14, 1966, when Washtenaw County officers spotted lights in the sky, moving at high speeds over Lima Township. The same lights were spotted by officers in Ohio, just across the Michigan border, and by observers at Selfridge Air Force Base. ....
Dexter, hinting at the serial killer’s return to his nature. The show left off in 2013 with murderer Dexter, played by Michael C. Hall, exiled in the woods as a lumberjack. Showtime released a teaser for the new 10-part series last week, with a voiceover from Dexter, saying: “There really is nothing like getting back to nature…my nature.” In a new 30-second trailer released on Thursday, we find out more about what’s in store for the vigilante murderer. The teaser opens up with a fire burning in the snowy woods and zooms out to reveal Dexter inside his cabin. In the reflection of the glass window, we can see a person struggling while being taped down to a table Dexter’s signature move when killing his victims. Dexter, looking at his victim through the glass, initially looks distraught, but then turns to face the camera and offers a cheeky grin. ....
