The Challenged Athletes Foundation gifted Jaxon Palmer, 5; Zella Egan, 5; and Clara Longoria, 8, with GRIT Junior wheelchairs, all-terrain chairs meant to allow users to travel on trails, beaches and more. Clara is from Boise, while Jaxon and Zella are from Twin Falls. Both Jaxon and Clara have spina bifida, and Zella has cerebral palsy. ....

Saturday marked a special day for the Wallace family as 3-year-old Teddy received a new off-road wheelchair. The boy was born with arthrogryposis, a condition that makes it difficult for him to use his arms and legs. âItâs just been such a blessing. I was definitely crying,â said Beth Wallace, Teddyâs mother. âHe has had nine surgeries in his short 3 and a half years of life. He has physical therapy every week and occupational therapy and has been through a lot.â ....
