Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 58-year-old man in Detroit following an argument with his romantic partner. The incident took place about 9 p.m. in the 9000 block of Birwood Street, according to a Detroit Police Department news release. Police believe, based on preliminary information, the man and a 64-year-old woman got into a verbal altercation, which escalated with the woman stabbing the man, according to the release. Medics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
