Crews responded to multiple water rescues in New River, including the rescue of two individuals who became stranded in a mobile home on Friday amid heavy monsoon rainfall.
First responders received a report that two people were trapped in a mobile home that was stranded near Central Avenue and Fig Springs Road, which is about 40 miles north of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
An unexpected hot air balloon landing left one man injured near 19th Avenue and Joy Road on Sunday, according to Phoenix police.
The balloon ride accommodated 18 people before it had to make the emergency landing, according to Daisy Mountain Fire Department.
Daisy Mountain fire stated that the reason for the sudden landing was unknown while Police suspect no foul play.

PHOENIX â Arizona State Forestry said fire crews were able to stop the forward progression of a brush fire that sparked Tuesday afternoon in northwest Phoenix, near Glendale.
The second-alarm brush fire, later named the Ultra Fire, was primarily burning near 43rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road, near The 500 Golf Club and Adobe Mountain Speedway racetrack.
It was estimated to be between 30-45 acres, according to various officials.
