ESCANABA A Drive-Thru Brat Sale to support the Delta County Cancer Alliance will be held Thursday, May 13, from
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the U.P. State Fairgrounds at the Ruth Butler Building. All proceeds will go to the Delta County Cancer Alliance.
The event is being sponsored by AirMedCare, Guardian Flight and UP Health System Home Care and Hospice. A $5 donation includes a brat, chips, dessert and bottled water

ESCANABA – Mary Lynn Bunnin (Larson), age 77, of Escanaba, passed away Sunday morning, December 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 28, 1943 in Escanaba, Mich., the daughter of Nils and Rilla (Christian) Larson. Mary graduated from Escanaba High School with the Class of 1961, attended Bay de Noc Community College, Northern Michigan University, and the University of Wisconsin-Stephens Point. She had lived in Wisconsin and California before returning to Escanaba in the late 1970s.
Mary was always actively involved in the community and constantly gave back. Her career was focused on seniors, having worked for MDS – Community Action Agency for 30 years in various roles. She was director of Foster Grandparents Program and director of VISCAP, and the Escanaba Senior Center. She participated in events such as Walking for Warmth, and was involved with the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association, and Caregiver ....
