A Massachusetts man accused of sexually assaulting two children before fleeing to New Hampshire years ago was arrested earlier this week, authorities said.
Daniel Napier was arraigned Wednesday in Concord District Court on 10 charges in connection with the alleged past sexual assaults, according to a statement from Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s office.
The 58-year-old Acton man knew the minors he is accused of sexually assaulting, the district attorney’s office noted in its statement.
The sexual assault claims came to light in November 2019 after the victims told a family member Napier touched them inappropriately on several occasions at his apartment in Acton. The allegations were then reported to police in the town, according to the statement from Ryan’s office. ....

An Acton man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted two children that he knew.
Daniel Napier, 58, is being charged with aggravated rape of a child, enticing a child under 16, and eight counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
Napier was arraigned in Concord District Court on Wednesday. His bail was set at $10,000. If released, he was ordered to stay away from the victims and their families, to be under lockdown at all times, to be monitored by a GPS, and to have no unsupervised contact and not work or volunteer with children under the age of 16, authorities said. He is scheduled to return to court on March 1. ....
