Boys threatened in Poole knife-point robbery

TWO schoolboys were threatened with a knife during a robbery in broad daylight.
Police have launched an investigation over the incident in Poole.
Two boys from Bournemouth have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and are assisting officers with their enquiries.
Households in the residential area of Oakdale where the incident happened have been asked to check their home CCTV systems for any footage that will be of interest to detectives.
Dorset Police was called at 3.38pm on Tuesday, June 15, to reports that two 15-year-old boys had been approached by two other males in Dale Valley Road, close to the junction of Foxholes Road. ....

Dorset pummelled by strong winds causing multiple incidents

“This road is quite a popular cut through for students going to the school or for people getting to the train station. I walk my dog down to the station and back every morning.
“It has almost taken the top triangle of the roof off. If you would have been in that car, you would have died.”
Firefighters closed off the road and urged people to stay away from the area.
Structural engineers visited the property to ensure no further damage would be caused, and firefighters visited neighbouring households to check on residents before vacating the area.
A spokesman from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, who was on the scene, said: “Our main concern now is neighbouring buildings. We have put out an alert on social media urging people to stay away from this road. ....

Poole Police make arrests as part of Operation Hacienda

“The 14 and two 12-year-olds were stop searched for drugs, the spokesman said.
Two boys were detained and are assisting Police with enquiries.”
The arrests were made as Dorset Police look to crack down on public disorder and anti-social behaviour among young people in the area through Operation Hacienda.
The spokesman added: “Operation Hacienda is currently running in Poole. It targets teenagers carrying weapons and dealing Class A drugs.
“This particular group was dealt with due to one of them, the 14-year-old, being an Operation Hacienda priority target nominal.
